HOME Weddings & events.... Weddings from around £600... (~3 hrs shooting)
Shooting time: £50/hr If you wish to have 2 cameras used please double these costs. Continuity is easier to achieve with 2 cameras but work is doubled at shooting & editing.
Editing: £25 hr
Editing / production takes between 3 & 10 times as long as the shooting time. If you wish you can specify how much time you wish dedicated to each. We recommend at least 5 times the shooting time for editing.
Shooting:

Think which parts of your day you would like filmed.

2 - 3 ratio: You can ask for up to 2 hour filming over 3 hours or 6 hrs shooting over 9 hrs or 8 hrs over 12hrs. As the camera is not running all the time, for an hours worth of shooting you will get between 20 mins & 50 mins of footage - depending on whether it's speeches / ceremony or waiting around the church entrance for the bride to arrive!

Editing: Shooting good footage is at the heart of good film - but quality editing is just as important in creating a quality film & does need time dedicated to it. The longer you allow for editing, the better the finished film experience.
Leaving the editing till later:

You can opt for minimal editing - or even no editing - if you are strapped for cash & plan to edit at a later date....just don't wait until the divorce! With no editing, you will simply receive the raw digital video cassettes. These may contain long passages of inactivity or shaky camera. Leaving the camera running all the time whilst waiting for the bride or moving the camera around makes picking up usable soundtracks with continuity easier as well as picking up unexpected footage. With very minimal editing, (twice the time taken to shoot the footage) you will get a usable DVD of your wedding. The footage will be rough but with the long periods of inactivity removed or placed on an 'extras' track for use should you wish to edit further in the future or use the soundtrack.

Perhaps you can edit it yourself one day!

You can opt to be present when your film is edited! This can give you a degree of control of what is added & what is 'left on the cutting room floor'. This is harder work for our editors, (believe me) so attracts an additional £5/hr charge.

DVD face
If you opt for any editing you will get a basic picture covers on your DVD. For another £50 you can have 2 more hrs spent on this for a really special cover. You will get the file too so you can copy it to any DVD copys you may wish to make yourself.
